​This website describes only some of the standard practices in animal agriculture and other animal industries. In order to turn animals into commodities they must be treated as production units, and never experience freedom. Procedures to control them and use their bodies inflict great harm. Animal industries use animals' ​flesh, organs, skin, fur and excretions (dairy and eggs) for products, clothing, entertainment, research,
​causing enormous amounts of pain, stress, and suffering.

All animals are slaughtered youngwhen their 'usefulness' declines.
